1. Who we are

Yasmina operates Saudi Arabia’s first Insurance Authority–approved embedded insurance platform. We provide the technology — APIs, the partner portal and embeddable journeys — that lets platforms offer insurance products to their customers. Every policy sold through Yasmina is underwritten by a licensed Saudi insurance company, not by Yasmina.

2. Accounts and eligibility

Partner accounts are for businesses. By creating an account you confirm that you are authorised to act for the company you register, that the information you provide (including commercial registration and IBAN details) is accurate, and that you will keep it current.

We review every application before granting production access. Sandbox access is instant and limited to test data.

3. Use of the platform and APIs

We grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Yasmina APIs, SDKs and portal to offer insurance products inside your own product, in accordance with our documentation.

You must keep client secrets confidential, store them in a secrets manager, and never expose them in client-side code. You may not resell API access, misrepresent quotes or coverage, scrape the platform, or use it for any unlawful purpose.

4. Partner obligations

You are responsible for presenting insurance offers accurately as returned by the API, capturing customer consent before issuing a policy, and displaying the required attribution where our documentation asks for it.

You must comply with all laws applicable to your platform, including consumer-protection and data-protection rules in the markets you serve.

5. Fees and revenue share

Platform access is free. When policies are sold through your integration you earn the revenue share set out in your partner agreement. Payouts are transferred to the IBAN on file, itemised per policy in a monthly statement. Figures shown in the portal are informational until confirmed in a statement.

6. Insurance products and underwriting

All insurance products distributed through Yasmina are underwritten and serviced by licensed Saudi insurers. The insurer named on each policy — not Yasmina and not you — carries the insurance risk, settles claims, and is responsible for the policy terms. Yasmina facilitates distribution, documentation and reporting.

7. Intellectual property

Yasmina retains all rights in the platform, APIs, documentation and brand. You retain all rights in your product. Neither party gains rights in the other’s marks beyond what is needed to operate the integration (for example the “powered by Yasmina” attribution).

8. Confidentiality and data

Each party will protect the other’s confidential information with at least the care it applies to its own. Personal data is handled according to our Privacy policy and the Saudi Personal Data Protection Law (PDPL). Where you pass customer data to the API, you confirm you have a lawful basis to do so.

9. Availability and liability

We target high availability and publish live status at our status page, but the platform is provided “as is” and we do not guarantee uninterrupted service.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, neither party is liable for indirect or consequential loss, and each party’s aggregate liability under these terms is limited to the amounts paid or payable under the partner agreement in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing limits liability for fraud or wilful misconduct.

10. Suspension and termination

You can close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for material breach, security risk, regulatory requirement, or extended non-use of production keys. Policies already issued to your customers remain in force with their insurer regardless of termination.

11. Changes and governing law

We may update these terms as the platform evolves; material changes are notified in the portal at least 30 days before they take effect. These terms are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and disputes are subject to the competent courts and authorities of the Kingdom.
